Software Engineer

Job description

Atlantic Quantum is seeking a software engineer to help develop the software backend of our quantum computing stack. You will be working closely with the quantum hardware team to develop software for controlling and testing our quantum devices.

We are looking for someone who is excited about working in a fast-paced, high-tech startup environment. Expertise in quantum computing is not necessary, but candidates should show a willingness to learn about quantum technologies.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s in computer science or equivalent practical experience
  • 5 years of full-stack software development experience
  • 3 years of experience programming in Python

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience interfacing with scientific instrumentation.
  • Experience with asynchronous programming
  • Experience working with SQL and NoSQL databases
  • Experience with Agile development in general and Atlassian’s Agile software suite in particular.
